Google Calendar Integration is Here!

Oh boy does time fly… August is almost over and we haven’t done a release yet. But we do have something that many of you have been waiting for. Google Calendar Integration is here!

Feature Updates

Bug Fixes / Tweaks

- Changing the Sort in Customer list to Last Name (was First Name)
- Fixing the apostrophe issue on page titles
- Fixing the Add Participant Customer List so it does not refresh back to start each time
- Introduced new multi-select drop downs for long lists

Google Calendar Integration

So, to be honest, there is not really a whole lot to show you on this… we have a simple yet functional new page where you can connect up with your Google Calendar (gcal)… and as an added bonus, you can disconnect as well. The rest just happens.

As you would imagine, we’ll push any classes or appointments booked in Fitli to the gcal. It will include basic info such as Session name, times, location, instructor (for clients), description, and a link to the session (different one depending on whether its a client or instructor).

If you make changes, the items on the calendar will be updated… Cancel a session? It’s removed. Disconnect? Everything is removed.

And for those of you who don’t use Gmail or Google Calendar? Apple’s iCal is on the list.

Generate Appointment Booking Link

Sure, clients can come to your website or use the mobile app to book an appointment… but it’s nice to be able to make it even simpler. Save them a few steps and provide a direct link to the Appointment booking page. Just copy, paste, and send.

Hide Class from Calendar

We’ve had this come up a few times over the years. You want to create a class that is just like normal except one tiny difference. Clients can’t see it on the calendar. There are plenty of use cases for this. Private Classes for groups or employees from a business. With this, you can define whether a class type can be hidden. Then you’ll have the option to do exactly that. As long as you provide the link, your clients will be able to find it and book and pay like normal. Once booked, they will see it on their calendar.
